A House on Holland Street

A house on Holland Street
Is where he grew up?
A big backyard with a swing set and a playhouse
The trampoline sat with the grass deprived of sunlight underneath
The neighbors were cool
And they ran in and out of the front door
Never alone, always with company,
The family house of his childhood memories.

The Bratty Kid

This bratty little kid would run and shout
He wanted it his way, and if not he would pout.

This bratty little kid always got his way
Until one day
His grandparents came to stay.

They saw the problem first hand
So they sent his parents to a marching band
And the grandparents - they took a stand.

They had him scrub the floor
And take the trash out the door.

It was enough for him
But they wanted more.

So work he did
And he was forbid.

To have won
He could not have fun
Until his chores were done.

And his parents could not come home
Until he made a kaca patri dome.

They were so strict
His head felt like a brick.

And at last his parents came home
To see his fancy kaca patri dome.

And it gave him and them a smile
That would last for a long while.

Mushroom Trip

Intelligence Test

After I ate the unfamiliar mushroom I began to catch shooting stars on my tongue, and breathed fire like a winged dragon and washed my hair in the rain and when I shrank to the size of a pea I washed my feet while watching screw drives molest screws and then I grew a tail which I cut off. Overall that was one intense mushroom.

A Pencil

A Pencil

Long and Yellow
With a pink eraser at its end
And a stick of lead running through its core.
A writer’s tool
The basic tool used by everyone
The first tool we learn to use as children
The one tool we use all our life
And will always use
As ideas flow out the pencil shrinks
Leaving behind its creations for the world to see.

Mighty Ocean Blue

The Mighty Ocean Blue

25 years ago my true love was taken from me
On a deep sea fishing trip in the pacific
The fish were biting plentifully
All was good until the environment around us started to change
Dark clouds and strong winds moved in
The clear sky and smooth water moved away
We pulled the poles in
I took my place as captain behind the wheel
Struggling to keep the boat in control
As strong waves and winds smashed against the side
My wife always looking for a thrill stayed on deck
Enjoying the storm and managing the equipment
A giant wave comes on deck and sweeps her away
I left my position and ran to her aid
Throwing floating devices in the water
She was unable to grab a hold
The waves made sight of her hard
When she began to go under
I dove into the water for her rescue
Struggling to save her when I could barley save myself
Their was no chance
She was gone
My boat was gone
All that was left was me and a raft
Washed ashore on a lone island
My former life was gone
In misery from my inability and lack of strength to save my true love
I lived like a cast away for 25 years
To afraid of the ocean to free my self
The time has come to free my soul
As a 45 year old man
I now have decided
To conquer my fear
I take my raft and set sail on the mighty ocean blue

Summer Memory

At the west tip of the mitten
Family gathers
BBQ is in the air, Karaoke
Raffles, auctions, horse shoe tournaments
Everyone’s having a blast,
As the day passes there is no time for a break from fun
With the damp cold grass below our feet and
The star covered moonlit sky above
Pesty mosquitoes are everywhere
With the kids in bed and adults drinking around a fire
We have all the freedom we could possibly want
Its are time now
Restless and full of energy
And a cold drink in the hand
The night is long

Tension

Tension

Sitting at my kitchen table in the chair with a broken leg,
My ice cream hits the spot,
The pitter patter of foot steps comes from behind
Before I know it the broken leg is kicked out my arms swipe the bowl of ice cream of the table,
On my back and glass everywhere,
Mark laughs,
Anger rushes through me; I grab a piece of glass and chuck it
Yelling in pain with glass in his shoulder
I realize what I did and quickly apologize

My life right now

Right now life is pretty good. I have been staying out of trouble and doin all my work, so im passing school now. I am very excited for spring break next week along with graduation which is in 2 months, and the last day for seniors is in 31 days. The new schedule that the district is going to pick up is not that bad but the seniors get screwed, and im not to fond of being screwed over. Im not going anywheir for spring break, just staying home and what not, im going to make sure i have alot of fun though.

Confessions

My little brother crying and sad
From his older siblings abuse,
Let him think something is ok and when he acts,
Punishment is what he receives,
Not fare and completely cruel
Lacking the love and friendship of his big bro
Can’t wait to see you again
Ill buy you something cool

How to Live

How to Live
Live as freely as you can,
live as if everyday was you’re last.
Fly around the world in a hot air balloon.
Clime to the highest peak of Mount Everest,
dive to the Abyssal zone of the sea.
Take kickboxing Lessons,
Fight in UFC,
go parceling and go cart racing,
ride a quad, dirt bike,
and learn to snow board in the most dangerous conditions,
wrestle a saltwater crocodile in Australia,
visit the 7 greatest wonders of the world,
visit the Amazon Rainforest and climb the tallest tree,
snap photos of scenery and animals.
Snorkel in the Caribbean sea,
go to the theater, go bowling,
visit Lake Tahoe,
take a trip to Washington DC,
fly to the city of New York,
travel to all the countries of Europe,
eat dinner in Italy,
Breakfast in Germany,
Lunch in Paris,
spend a week in Amsterdam,
enlist into the military,
serve your country well,
go to college, save money ,
buy property, open your own business,
become and entrepreneur,
be generous not greedy,
become a politician,
rule the world,
create a better society.

Falling and breaking, things are spilling making a mess, paint is every wheir on her white dress like a wedding gone bad. Going up to heaven like a spirit rising out of the ground starting their ascent to the skys, or being dragged unwillingly to hell for the sins youve committed. Empty white windows whats out there could be anything creates an imagination for the mind to wonder. Could be a picture of fun times having fun bouncing of her back on a trampoline like floor or crashing and breaking the floor heading right through into a never ending descent.

Photo 1

black and white photo from the past, old railways leading anywhere through the world, causing accidents and death. A hunters enviroment in nature with deer crossing the path, what an adrenaline rush, with the heart pumping. The tracks of animals in the snow everywheir i go people always know the track is leading anywhere out there by its self or alone, the world is known, holy crap everything is blown. Trees in the dusk of dawn weary and very distant unknown full of mysteries, could be anything.

Immigrants are good, they bring some new cultures to america, like the Irish and their beer, and all the good foreign foods. I love those illegal mexicans coming over it makes for good jokes for some good laughs.

I hate illegal immigrants always sneaking into our country stealing our jobs and not paying taxes. Alot of them complain about america to, so if you dont like it then why are you here, just shut up and deal with it. I mean I dont want no 36 illegal mexicans crashing through the border hammered drunk in a single pick up truck, or when you open up the back of a semi truck and 6 drunkin mexicans jump out and run for the hills.

I dont realy care about the immigration problem, its none of my concern. If they want to be an american let them, i just ask for them to obey the laws and give respect. Im no immigrant hatter or lover. Just do what you please and ill do what i please.
I remember when i was out west in Arizona and I had a 12 guage shotgun in my hands, and ou in the desert their was a brush pile that my grandpa had put out to attract quail and rabbits. The animals werent ment to shoot but that day i just felt like killing me a bunny, so i walked on out to the brush pile, climbed to the top and jumped up and down for a few and out comes a rabbit running full speed. I reacted with a big BANG! coming from the shot gun,I blew that little rabbits back legs off and it was fun. When i walked up to it, it was still alive with the legs just hanging by some fur. I picked the rabbit up took him up to the house and the whole time he was trying to bite me, so i grabbed a knife and to put him out of his misery I slit his throat. When the deed was done i skinned him and made some rabbit and gravy and it was tasty.

Full moon me

I am the shape of the Galaxy spinning uncontrollably through space and time
I glide through life like a knife and cake
I am the sound of the wind echoing through the mountains
I am a monkey climbing a tree in the rainforest
I am the song say good bye to a tangerine sky
I am the number infinity never ending always going on and on
I am a White and Chrome 2006 Harley Davidson Deuce riding through the land
I am a lazy chair kicked back and relaxed
I’m a venison back strap steak juicy and tasty
I am a guitar playing hard rock
I am space always expanding and growing
I am water continuously flowing through life and the world
I am a weeping willow blowing in the summer breeze
I am a zombie walking dazed and confused
I am unknown philosophies representing knowledge and reasoning

my comments

short and gets the job done. Very nice.

Knowledge
Philip Memmer
My philosopher friend is explaining again
that the bottle of well-chilled beer in my hand

might not be a bottle of beer,
that the trickle of bottle-sweat cooling in my palm

might not be wet, might not be cool,
that in fact it’s impossible ever to know

if I’m holding a bottle at all.
I try to follow his logic, flipping the steaks

that are almost certainly hissing
over the bed of coals – coals I’d swear

were black at first, then gray, then red –
coals we could spread out and walk on

and why not, I ask, since we’ll never be sure
if our feet burn, if our soles

blister and peel, if our faithlessness
is any better or worse a tool

than the firewalker’s can-do extreme.
Exactly, he smiles. Behind the fence

the moon rises, or seems to.
Have another. Whatever else is true,

the coals feel hotter than ever
as the darkness begins to do

what darkness does. Another what? I ask.

I like this poem because what it talks about reminds me of the way I think or some of my thoughts.

Life right now is a little boring and slow. The cold is getting to me and im starting to get sick. Coming from Vegas, the cold doesnt treat me well, I like to be outside but latley the majority of my time is spent indoors. My days could be busier, I dont have to many acitve things to do but get in trouble and hang out with my freinds.
Due to being on probation i have to be as good as I possibly can because jail dont sound fun. I have to deal with alot of court crap and earn some money for fines, its alot of shit I dont need, exspecially when Im trying to graduate. I have been doing alot better in school though so thats a bonus.
